- No mandatory user accounts: You can access all live bus timings, EV stations, carparks, weather forecasts, and traffic cameras without registering or providing your name.
- On-device GPS handling: Your geographical coordinates are processed locally on your device to display nearby stops and carparks. We do not store or sell your real-time location.
- Google Advertising & Cookies: Third-party advertising partners (including Google AdSense) may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You maintain full control over cookie preferences.
SingaNow partners with third-party vendors, including Google AdSense, to display advertisements across the site. To ensure compliance with Google Advertising Policies, we explicitly disclose the following:
- Third-party vendor cookie usage: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to SingaNow or other websites across the Internet.

Required for core navigation, server load balancing, and CSRF/security tokens. These do not track personal identifying information.
Used to remember your pinned bus services, favorite carpark lots, recent searches, and interface density preferences solely on your device.
Anonymous telemetries (e.g., page view counts, device viewport, browser version) used solely to optimize website speed and resolve rendering bugs.
You can configure your browser (Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge) to refuse all cookies or notify you when a cookie is sent. Note that certain layout preferences may reset if cookies and local storage are disabled.
SingaNow provides location-aware features such as "Nearby Bus Stops", "Carparks Near Me", and "Nearby EV Charging Stations".
- Explicit Consent Required: Your location is only requested when you interact with location-specific buttons (such as "Nearby Stops" or "Near Me"). Your browser will ask for your explicit permission first.
- Client-Side Processing: Distance calculations between your current GPS coordinates and transit infrastructure are computed locally inside your browser engine using mathematical formulas (Haversine formula).
- Zero Tracking: SingaNow does not log, transmit, record, or store your GPS coordinates on our servers, nor do we share your personal location with advertisers.
Like virtually all web applications, our web servers automatically log standard network requests to maintain security, prevent denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, and debug service interruptions. These server logs may include:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address (masked/truncated where applicable)
- Browser user-agent string and operating system architecture
- Requested URL path, HTTP response status code, and timestamp
- Referring URL
This diagnostic data is retained temporarily for server integrity and is never linked to individual user profiles.
In compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) of Singapore, SingaNow adheres to the nine Data Protection Provisions, including Purpose Limitation, Notification, Access and Correction, Accuracy, Protection, Retention Limitation, and Transfer Limitation.
